When I was in high school, I began experiencing intense anxiety while trying to balance friendships, extracurriculars, grades, and college applications. The stress felt like a weight on my chest, making it hard to breathe or fall asleep. To cope, I surrounded myself with pillows, hugging them tightly just to ease my anxiety. By the time I graduated, I had built a small fortress of 9 pillows around my bed. This was the only way I felt protected and could finally fall asleep.
That experience became the foundation for Kaomi Sleep. I dreamed of creating something that could bring that same sense of comfort, security, and peace I craved as a teen. Something designed to help others feel calm and safe in their own bedroom.
My dream became real with the SherpaNest, the world’s first fitted bed sheet designed with soft, supportive borders to bring comfort and security to restless nights. In a world where we’re constantly fatigued and overstimulated, Kaomi Sleep is here to help people sleep better, think clearer, and wake up re-energized.
